Got called with this scam before from another number, so I knew the pitch. When he started on how we are being overcharged on our merchant account, I told him we have already accessed our account and would you please take us off your list, thank you.
Hung up on him and he called back immediately, being VERY AGGRESSIVE while asking me to answer just yes or no whether or not I'm fine with these "overcharges". I would not answer, kept asking him who, exactly, he represents and what they want. He kept PUSHING HARD for me to say yes or no about the overcharges and finally said, "Ma'am, I don't have time for games..." I interrupted him and asked, "Then why are you playing this game?" He hung up on me. :)
I just received a call from Wayne Morris at this number. He wanted a copy of one of my monthly cc processing statements so he could correct "overages" charged to my account. Wayne stated that small merchants shouldn't be charged more than 1.5%. I could hear a lot of other telemarketers in the background pitching the same scam. I let Wayne give me his email address & said I'll send that right away. Wayne replied that he'll wait on the line till he receives it. Ok, start holding your breath .... >click< Bye Wayne!
....continuing my previous post, I blocked the phone number 972-852-0850 right after I posted. A blocked # still shows up on my ID, tho my phone doesn't ring. The caller receives a message stating "We are no longer accepting calls from this number". Wayne Morris has tried calling me 3 times in the past 15 minutes!
