I just got one too???? Saying it was about a very important legal matter and left a number for me to call back.... I didn't have a chance to write it down.
They called and left a message, called them back. Mrs Armstrong answered and at first was nice and calm going on about bank fraud and having a letter from bank verifies this. I asked her if that is the case why do I still have an account in good standing with that bank? She started to get upset and then I told her until I get the companies full name, address, and validation of debt sent to me by U.S. Mail we have nothing to talk about. At this point she became unglued and threatened arrest and all other sorts of things, at this point I hung up.
Called my cell no approximately 15 minutes ago (came up on my caller ID from Dallas, TX) with pretty much the same message as everyone else has received - along the lines of ""we've tried to contact you many times in regards to a serious legal matter If you have already been contacted by your county, disregard this message. Other wise contact us on 972-865-7525".
I know full well I have no debts & that this has to be a scam !
