Ask your mail person if a certified letter really arrived (you should have received a notice from him too). I will wager there was none - just a pathetic lie by a debt collector. BTW - phone calls are NOT an official notification either.
it is a trick to get you to call.....this is for a pay day loan I did 3 years ago. 2 1/2 years ago I declared bankruptcy .
these people will not stop they will say you are going to jail they will scream and yell at you. they went as far as to have there phone number came up on my caller id as my attorneys phone number. these people will stop at nothing to collect.
there methods are against the law. now when they call I have fun with it I pretend I'm hard of hearing and make them repeat them self's and speak up etc.
I have had 9 calls from this number. I have declared bankruptcy too but it has been cleared for over 4 years now. I was scream at saying your going to jail you ---- ! They have called my work also. I have call the police and reported them all 9 times. I going to send the number to the FBI next time they call.
I have been receiving calls from this number same thing I have never received certified mail checked with my mail man and post office all said no and I called back same thing started getting aggressive with me and I have never got a loan it's a trick.
