This is the 3rd phone call I have received. this last one was a prerecord message directing me to call them. I phoned the number back and when a woman answered, she said it was the IRS. I informed her that I was reporting them to the FBI & IRS at which time she hung up. It did sound like a "boiler" room, lots of noise and other voices in the background.
Keith left me a threatening. So I called to give him a piece of my mind. They told me I would be arrested, funny that the IRS never informed me I would be arrested. When inquired who are you are, she gave the American name of Lisa Jones. I told her you do not sound like your name would be Lisa. I asked Lisa why would the IRS have you, the alleged Treasury Dept to contact me. She hung up on me, how dare you. "Keith & Lisa Scammer-Jones" me & my family are looking for you in the daylight with a flash light. Don't play.
Received a voicemail on my answering machine that I was ignoring some sort of legal action, etc etc. I called back because a friend had told me if you call these people back and say to get off their calling list, they will do so. A man whose first language was obviously not English (no offense to those upstanding citizens who speak little or no English) and said it was the US Treasury and how much money did I have. I asked 3 times to be removed from the calling list and then hung up saying I would report to the US Government.
Pre-recorded message claiming to be from U.S. treasury regarding an criminal offense. Weird. Found this email string. Thanks for those who posted here to warn of this number. Won't be calling back....
