IGot the same call you guys got this morning at 5 am. Didn't answer the phone because of this very reason..... and, still, very scary and nerve racking..... especially at that time of the morning. This time, instead of being John Marshall, Mark Johnson, Travis Hall, Nick Walker, Jason Brown, Frank Stanley, or any other name this guy comes up with,....... today he is Steve Martin....... with an Indian or Pakistani accent.
So,....... I call this number a few hours later and a woman answers the phone and claims that she's with the U.S. Treasury. I said 'You're not the U.S.Treasury, you f#%king B;tch!!!!!! And, she's gets all defensive, cuts me off, and says "You beeee itch!" And hung up on me. Made my day to make her mad.
If they call you, keep calm and play them like a fiddle. They're probably little adolescent kids in India trying to extort money from us.
Got the call this morning .threatened to take me before a grand jury if I didn't call back. What a mean thing to do.

Had 5 messages on my machine today from "Keith Martin" at this number, a man who fits the description listed in the other comments, threatening legal action against me via the US Treasury. Scary stuff.
Received a voicemail yesterday from a woman. Said we owed money to the IRS and to call back for details. Got another one from Keith Mophet today saying, "this deserves serious attention, ignoring this will be a second ignored attempt to go infront of a magistrate judge or a grand jury." Idiots with an Indian or Pakistani accent.
