Today's story was this person who could barely speak English was calling from "The Treasury Department in Washington, DC." They knew my name but called me "Mr. (first name)." He hung up when I started hurling epithets.
Number blocked - for all the good it will do.
couldn't understand the caller as he had a heavy Indian accent. asked several times as to what company he was with. He told me that I must be hard of hearing and hung up. looked up the number to see that it was the US credit card company. Sounded like a telemarketer.
Claimed they were from a Spytech company and asked if I had 5 computers on home network and wanted to know what protection I had. Heavy accent and wanted personal information so I denied and told him to remove number off call list and that I don't they had anything to do with Microsoft or a certified company like McAfee, Norton, AVG or such. He hung up.
I received a call twice I tried to call it back and the number has been disconnected . I have been getting these alls and when I answer they hang up or want me to take out a loan
Repeatedly get a call from this number. Always asking for Jennifer. Told him, I am not Jennifer and will never be Jennifer. They said they are from U.S. Financial Services. B.S. - it's a scam.
