Today's story was this person who could barely speak English was calling from "The Treasury Department in Washington, DC." They knew my name but called me "Mr. (first name)." He hung up when I started hurling epithets.
Number blocked - for all the good it will do.
They called me and said I had ate too much at their Chinese restaurant and I was not allowed to eat there anymore and that I have a $100 bill. She kept yappin and said that it was a restaurant not a homeless shelter. Could definitely tell she was Chinese
The National Do Not Call list is a joke. There is no way on earth to prevent robocalls, telemarketers...as long as someone has access to phone numbers, they are going to call...Most of these are not legitimate businesses so they don't fall under the mandated rules by the FCC.
