This HAS to be a scam. I do NOT have Verizon, and got a call from that number. Newark. Did not answer. They no message. It is so simple folks. If you don't know the number ... DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. If it's legit, or someone you really know .. they will leave a message.
This is the worst time I have had with them(Verizon). They have always called about late payment or service being disrupted in some way or whatever reason they can find to call, but they call for a day or two maybe twice a day and usually leave voicemails. I have been receiving calls from this number multiple times a day(at all hours mind you) and they have never left a voicemail. Been going on for at least a week already. Ridiculous.
Maybe more predatory and cowardly than it appears. It might be this company http://www.bbb.org/atlanta/business-reviews/c ... anta-ga-6000522 collecting on a verizon or other's account. Seems they have a problem with fully disclosing who they are and the nature of business.
