police officer, complaint concerning this # 973-796-3910, do not fall for the claims you owe money on some loan you took out or supposed to have taken out. It is a scam / fraud and a violation of the Federal Trade Commission. If you were harassed by them file a complaint with the FTC at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ (Do not send them any money or give out your identification information, even if they have it don’t confirm It.) file the complaint with the F.T.C. and if you did send money file a report with your local police department.
I don't know who you all have been calling but this number definitely belongs to a CreditOne Bank location. There's no police or investigator involved. They will try every number in their possession to get you on the phone and try to collect a payment. I owe them a few hundred but I don't have the money and I've told them that numerous times that when I can, I'll make a payment. However, I realize their job is to collect, not sympathize, so I just ignore them.
