This is a total scam. Do not even answer if you see the number or name, Young Kristen.
Or you could answer and try to waste as much of their time as possible. They are offering "technical assistance." Just say you are doing what they ask and go about your other activities. Maybe that will get you off their list. Nothing else seems to work.
And why is SCAM not a choice under "call type?"
Joining the ranks of the people here who have received a call from the Indian guy @ 985-778-4834...told me my computer was telling him I had errors that he could correct. I told him he was lying, and that I knew he was after my personal info. Abrupt ending and a recording came on that said my call had been "kicked off." Tried calling the number back, and the recording said that I had reached that number in error - no such number. HA!!
Wish I would have strung him on a little longer and asked exactly what his computer was telling him about mine ;)
