I received a call from this number, but did not answer. A subsequent check from a different phone indicated that the number has been disconnected and is no longer in service. This is obviously a spoof number.
Received this call back to back days and refused to answer. Called back on a company line and it was disconnected...Scam artist for sure.....Simple rule, If you do not know the number, don't answer. If they want you that badly they will leave a voicemail.......Probably Peggie!!!
Was called by this number. Man with a heavy Indian accent claimed he was from Microsoft and that my computer was sending out bomb threats (?) and that if I didn't go get my computer and follow his orders to "fix it" via the phone, the American army (again, ????) would contact me about it. Told him I knew an IT guy personally and would have him fix it, he then proceeded to tell me it wasn't a "normal" bug and that the only way to fix it was via telephone. Yeah right. Scam. Don't answer.
Same Microsoft scam but I decided to have fun with the same loser who is calling everyone. When he said he was calling from Microsoft to fix my errors. I acted shocked said oh no how do you know. Brilliant boy said that Microsoft gets the errors through their server and then sends him the errors to fix. I asked him how to fix. He told me to turn on my computer and tell him what I saw. I told him I saw a picture of my cat. He told me to hit the Microsoft flag and r at the same time which I didn't do. Again asked what I saw. I said oh wow now I see my neighbors cat!! He then proceeded to call me an M F'er. Then I handed the phone to my husband who told him a few things. What a bunch of losers these scammers are!
