Also, "do not call" lists do NOT apply to marketing research so if you're being called for a "survey" then they are unfortunately well within their rights to contact you. Just ignore or tell them you will not participate.

Same as Me too. I never give out my cell phone number to anyone except my kids, even my in-laws, so I don't know how they got my number. Answered it and said I had taken an online survey. No, I didn't and even if I did I sure wouldn't give them my cell phone #. I don't even have a smart phone.
