Its a scam, I used to work for IRS and they do not call with information regarding an impending lawsuit. These same people have contacted my family and friends stating they are police officers looking for me. Its A SCAM DO NOT FALL FOR IT. TRUST ME ON THIS, SCAMMERS ALL THE WAY.
Received a call from this number stating they were from the IRS with an impending lawsuit on some miscalculated taxes from 2008-2010. Said if made payment then and officer would show up with the necessary paper working proving the claim. Yeah right!!!
Just went in IRS website They have warning about this and how report Examiner to both theTreasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS to the comments in your complaint.

This number just called. I called back just to mess with the idiots. The guy who answer knew my name and came right out and said this was a scam. He then went on a rant about how Osama Bin Ladin is still alive and was going to strike America again. He made several other threats against me, my family and America. He then made a statement about Allah. Anyway, I invited him over and told him I would meet him at the airport. Why do we let this kind of scum do this?
