We do not have a law suite from the IRS...our taxes are fine.

206-201-2152.   robo call saying it was the internal revenue service and a lawsuit was being filed against me today if I did not call them back.

Told me she was from the IRS. Told me an audit has been done going back to 2003 and that I owed $31,114.00. Told me suit was about to be filed.

I figured somebody from the IRS would've mentioned it to me befofiling suit. Also I thought the IRS would use native English speakers.

I hung up.

Number called left vm stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I need to call same number back ASAP. I feel sorry for anyone who experiences anxiety over a scam call like this. Most of us don't need any extra stress in our lives. I do wish such calls could be stopped.

Received a call from 206-201-2152 on my answering machine. Mechanized announcement stated IRS was filing suit against me and I should return the call for more details.  No case # or other information was provided. Sounds like a scam.  I would expect the IRS to send a letter notifying the recipient of any action that was pending, not make a phone call and leave absolutely no information.
