"Internal Revenue ServiceS"--note the s they use in their robo-scam call. The IRS doesn't play this game, so just delete the message and their supposed threat. Ooooooo, I'm terrified.
Caller states he is an IRS fraud investigator and demands that a resident returns call to the above number. EVERYONE BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM IRS PHONE CALL.
Robo call, supposedly from Crime Investigation Unit of IRS and wants you or your attorney to call them. Threatens if you don't, they can only "wish you good luck as the situation unfolds." Um, what? Scare tactic made me think but realized no real govt agency would leave that kind of message, esp on a first contact. This is a scam.
CALL SAID IT WAS FROM CRIME INVESTIGATION UNIT OF THE IRS AND I SHOULD NOT DISREGARD THIS CALL. I SHOULD RETURN IT OR HEAR FROM MY ATTORNEY THEN THEY WISH ME GOOD LUCK AS THE SITUATION UNFOLDS.
