"Internal Revenue ServiceS"--note the s they use in their robo-scam call. The IRS doesn't play this game, so just delete the message and their supposed threat. Ooooooo, I'm terrified.
This robo-call keeps targeting my phone, claiming they are from the IRS and a legal claim has been filed under my name. I know the IRS does not make phone calls concerning legal matters.
I got a similar message left in my voice mailbox on March 18, 2015,, only it came from a number in San Antonio ((210) 526-6628), specifying that I call the 206-201-2400 number, as follows:
"Our division is 206-201-2400. Again that number is 206-201-2400. Do not disregard this message return the call now if you don't return the call or if we don't hear from your attorney either the only thing we can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Have a great day ahead."
Call back number from caller stating government is giving away 9000 dollars to use however you want -- asked for bank account information -- number on caller id was a new york number that was not a working number for incoming callers 212-777=6786
