I received this call on the caller is it says pay phone 2173989544.. I of course let it go to voicemail.. Then a message is left call the IRS it does not state the name of whom they're looking for...so I called 2062012593 left in message.. Some guy asks for my name and number then states the IRS is filing a law suit for taxes not filed/paid from 2008-2012. Now we all know that if this were true I would have been notified by mail which I stated to him. Here's the kicker I HAVE NOT WORKED SINCE 2004!!!!! of course when I told him that he hung up...IRS scams

I got an automated voice message on my home answering machine. It said the IRS was filing a law suit against me. I called 206-201-2593 as instructed. The individual that answered the phone had an extremely thick foreign accent (Hispanic?). He told me the IRS was suing me for taxes owed for 2008 and 2012 in the amount $3,500. I verified he was telling me that owed taxes for 2008 and 2012. He said, "Yes" and that the IRS was going to freeze all my accounts, etc. He said he needed my Drivers License Number and My SSN. I said, "You said I owed taxes for 2008 and 2012, right?" He said, "yes" again. I said, "I'm calling you from my cell phone. I haven't identified myself. How do you know who I am?" He said "I need your driver's license number." I said no. He hung up the phone.
This is a business line and the recording said...'This is your last call, the IRS is filing an action against you. Call case number 2062012593. " Based on the information above I didn't even call, complete [***].
I got an automated voice message on my cell phone. It said the IRS was filing a law suit against me. I called 206-201-2593 as instructed. The individual that answered the phone told me the IRS was suing me for taxes owed for 2008 and 2012 in the amount $3,687.00. I verified he was telling me that owed taxes for 2008 and 2012. He said, "Yes" and that the IRS was going to sue me and put a warrant out for my arrest because I committed fraud on the IRS. When I asked about a payment plan he said that we couldn’t work one out and that they would go ahead and file the suit. I told him I would have to talk to my accountant and I wasn’t paying anything. He yelled at me that “there was nothing I could do and hang up!” He luckily never asked for any personal information. I never asked for employee name or badge number.
I just filed two complaints on websites obtained from the IRS.
