I received this call on the caller is it says pay phone 2173989544.. I of course let it go to voicemail.. Then a message is left call the IRS it does not state the name of whom they're looking for...so I called 2062012593 left in message.. Some guy asks for my name and number then states the IRS is filing a law suit for taxes not filed/paid from 2008-2012. Now we all know that if this were true I would have been notified by mail which I stated to him. Here's the kicker I HAVE NOT WORKED SINCE 2004!!!!! of course when I told him that he hung up...IRS scams
Message made me roll on the ground laughing due to the poor special effects trying to simulate a robo-call... Message informed me "this is a final notice that you are being sued by internal revenue service..." Yeah... right... I'm an attorney, there is no way anyone can "notice" parties to lawsiuts through telephones.
Please, friends, if you get such a request know immediately this is a scam. Best wishes to you all.
called and left a message that the IRS was suing me next day I called the number and spoke to an actual foreign voiced man who told me I was being audited and that I better get a lawyer.....I called my accountant and she told me it is a toal scam. The IRS only contacts you in hard copy written form no email and no telephone........don't call them back!!
Message said IRS was filing lawsuit against us with this phone number to call. It's a scam. Number goes to a call center. If you question them they hang up on you. Recommend to ignore any messages received from this fraudulent contact.
