I received this call on the caller is it says pay phone 2173989544.. I of course let it go to voicemail.. Then a message is left call the IRS it does not state the name of whom they're looking for...so I called 2062012593 left in message.. Some guy asks for my name and number then states the IRS is filing a law suit for taxes not filed/paid from 2008-2012. Now we all know that if this were true I would have been notified by mail which I stated to him. Here's the kicker I HAVE NOT WORKED SINCE 2004!!!!! of course when I told him that he hung up...IRS scams
same as others. A recorded message said it was IRS "this is final call" and I was being sued. i called the # and it rang three times , then went to fast busy signal.
Received two calls from 206-201-2593. Feb. 25, 2015 was their "final notice that a lawsuit has been filed against you by the IRS...." We did not call the number. The words were pre-recorded and the message was put together in a rather choppy manner and left on our answering machine. First call was a week ago, we just deleted it. It is an obvious scam.
I just received an automated message from a "pay phone" that stated I was being sued by the IRS and to call 206-201-2593. I did not call the number because I have a friend who works at the IRS and I will be reporting this phone call to her directly.
The IRS and FBI have been chasing there crooks (Who are mostly from other countries) for a couple of years. I'm sure your friend will resolve it quickly and forever.
Got a call at 7am from 1 (516) 785-9767, saying this was my "Final Notice" and that I was being sued... To call 2062012593. Funny the IRS took my refund this year, so why Am I being sued... They tried it though... I look up all mysterious numbers... Im not falling for this SCAM!! But nice try!!
