I do NOT have a debt with BOA but rather with Wachovia/Wells Fargo.I do have a checking account with BOA but nothing is owed to them by me. Is htere any connection?
They called wanting us to go to the neighbor's house, to deliver a message with a phone number to call! Boy,they have some nerve! They left a different number for the neighbor to call= 800-577-2490 ext 53134 Dave Gray. Can't they be reported to the BBB for this?
They just called my mom, trying to get her name. The female that called said she got the number from a "David Boyle" and wanted to know who she'd called... They hung up when I got on the line. I called back several times - each time they'd ignore the call. I didn't give up and they ended up screwing up: somehow they must have answered without realizing it. I listened to them for a few minutes - it was a couple of guys and a girl chatting about songs from their childhood (they mentioned Montell Jordan and and one of them said it was too old for him to remember, so these guys are around 19 or 20 yrs old). They were laughing it up, until there was a rattle and somebody saw that the phone was connected. They quickly picked it up and went into character, saying some crap about "This is Bank of America, may I help you?" Needless to say, I went off on them... I called back a few minutes later and the same guy picked up, still in character. I asked to speak with Montell, and he actually played along. I even gave him a fake SSN and account#... the chat eventually turned into somewhat of a funny conversation. I even gave him advice on being more careful with their phones.
