Received a recorded "notice" that the factory warranty on my vehicle "may" be expired, and it's not too late to respond now. We receive these daily, and every time it says "this is the final call before we close your file". Every time I press 2 to be remove to no avail.
Got the same call as others...warranty on car is about to expire, blah, blah, blah...hit 2 to get on do not call list...hit 1 to speak to someone...I did not hit 2...I intenionally hit 1 and was disconnected...tried to call back...busy signal
same factory warranty scam. I chose to "speak" with someone and got "Judy". When I mentioned that they were violating federal law by contacting a person on the do not call list the -- they hung up immediately. I.E. If they were not aware before they are now!!! Interesting enough same type of calls are now coming in on our cellphones. We need to capture and get some prison time for the violators.
I just got the call, I press 1. I asked to guy who they were, he ask the make and model of my car (I have a 2006 jeep) (This is the 1st car I got new, and I get more phone calls and junk mail after I got it. ) So I ask again who he was and how he got my phone number. he hung up, now it is busy. If it is because I have a new car (it was new when I got it at the end of 2006) or I got my phone from a 3rd party cell phone store. I am not sure if all these places are the same (Warranty Cos) But I got a letter with a vin number saying it was my last chance, I called that guy and he said that he got nothing to hide and they're place sells 700,000 Warranty a week. I going to call back in a few days
Im 17, I've never owned a car i've been getting these calls since i was 15 theyre really annoying its not because of a car its some sort of scam and id loveeeee to penalize whoever keeps calling me
