Same thing, either nothing or a please hold for a representative. You call me and want me to hold?!?!? Why can't there be a law that you cannot call cell phones for these kinds of calls. I pay for the phone, I pay for the plan and I PAY FOR THE MINUTES! If I don't want someone calling my cell phone I should be able to block them.
Had this number call me AGAIN. Automated message for a relative that lives in another state. My number had been used as a local EMERGENCY CONTACT for the person they are trying to reach.
Says "important personal matter,call 330-864-1200, if this is "John Doe" please press 1 for important message" I have told them before this person doesn't live here, & I rarely see them. Gave them the most current address for the person yet they continue to call ME !!
There is no law that is being broke by the message. The message meets all FDCPA regulations if that is all that it is saying. As far as caller ID goes, I don't know much about it, but it could just be a mix up with the phone company or a serparate division of the collection agency. Hope I've helped.
