Yep, he almost got me too. I got the same email. Then decided to google the phone number on the posting and saw all these posts. Glad I did even tho I would have never wired him the money. I thought the house seemed too good to be true.

WOW,  I am so glad that I checked Mr Hamsows James & Family out.  I too responded to an add on Craigslist.  I was just courious because he wouldn't give me the building number that the condo is listed in.  I know the complex very well.  Here is his response to me.  Very very  Similar to everyone. I emailed this email address yesterday about a home I saw on craigslist and I got this response letter 20 minutes ago. SCAM!!!!!!!! Please BEWARE of an ad or email similar to this. The same letter, daughter has a different name, different college but the exact same email. This is the email address it came from:

I'm glad I decided to google info from the letter to see if it was legit or not. We google map the address and its a empty lot. Nothing is there. Here is the letter I received:
