I got the same thing so I just kept calling until he got sick of me and whats funny they are answering the phone as IRS so then I blocked my number and he answered so I asked if he wanted to buy girl scout cookies...lol

Got the same call today about tax evasion and was threatened with arrest. Caller had a foreign accent.

Been scammed before. Once burned, twice shy.
"IRS" left message re: tax fraud and evasion, said I would be arrested by local sheriff and needed to return call. Stupidly, I called back. They said return call in 30 minutes as all agents on break!!! Really!!!
Wish they could catch these boogers.

They left a message on my phone today with the same IRS scam. I wish I had been home to take the call as it would have been fun to play along.

They're still at it.  I got a message on my machine today.  How can they expect you to fall for it if they don't even know your name?  There may be multiple filers in a household, so you can't just say "we have a legal citation for you...etc".

I suppose it's a good thing these guys are so dumb, or else I might be worried.
