This guy kept asking me for my name and asking if my parents were home, with a follow up question of, "could we be friends?" Aaaand that's when I hung up. Really, really creepy. o_o
My experience was totally different. Actually it was my teenage daughter who got over 40 calls from this East Indian older man but instead of trying to scam her he was sexually harassing her!!
He was saying over and over again how much he loves her and wants to be with her and other inappropriate responses. My daughter became very frightened. He called her at home on a weekend and I even talked with him and told him if he didn't stop calling I would call the police. That stalled him over the weekend than he started to call again on the Monday. She would hang up and he would call back within seconds. I finally called the police and I tracked down his number which is this 647-259-8545 number. I even called it but no one would answer. I let it ring and ring and ring and finally someone picked up the phone, didn't say a word and just disconnected the line.
So it appears he is not only trying to scam people but also sexually harass individuals on his spare time!!!
These people have called me 6 times in the last month to try to sell me bell phones.. i dont know if they are a scam or just idiots.. each time i asked them to take me off the list and they still proceeded to try to sell me on the phones.. i have called bell customer service twice and emailed them just now through their website.. they are driving me crazy!! 647-259-8545 is their number and they said they were from godirect today when i asked. before no number except an L came up.
