I was receiving daily calls from this number. I finally got sick of it and said "yeah, come clean my ducts" I then provided a phony address and set up an appointment. The day safter the 'appointment' he stars calling me saying he can see me in my house and that I was in my bedroom (I was in the kitchen) so I laughed it off. He continued to call throughout the night. I kept hanging up, and he called again and again. I got sick of it and left the phone on in front of the TV.
The next night he calls again. I told him that if he continues to call I would report him to the police. This idiot actually had the nerve to call back so I called the police. Thankfully "James Gabriel" left a nice message on my answering machine where he threatens to rape me with his "36 inch dick" (the constable and I both ROFL'd at that) He assured me that if they ever catch up to this creep he'll be charged with uttering threats and harassment.
Anyway, this creep is calling over Skype, so there's nothing Bell can do to help the investigation.
I hope that he calls agin so I can lure him to my house to meet the nice constable
Please file your complaint with the CRTC and refer to the calls you have been receiving and the complaint made to the Police. The CRTC may contact you directly and work with you to try to make these calls stop

Some telemarketers use virtual numbers such as VOIP which can be acquire over the internet for little money, so tracing them is difficult, however, a customer could provide information about the business that delivered the service following the appointment made over the phone People working in telemarketing center do not usually make visits, as they often work form overseas, and they are not paid high wages, they just try to generate leads for businesses and can act very unprofessional at times (such as using scaring tactics)
I got the exact same story and excuse. I am also on the DNCL and he flat out said he would NOT take my number off their calling list. Told him my air ducts haven't been cleaned and 10 years. He insisted that they cleaned our air ducts 2 1/2 years ago and replied that it was ILLEGAL not to clean your air ducts every year and that if I didn't have them cleaned that I would find the police on my doorstep the next day. By the way, it is NOT illegal!

Tammy, besides the obvious that you should NEVER give out personal information to someone you do not know over the phone, you need to make sure you protect your ID going forard. I suggest setting up a freeze on your personal credit reports with both Equifax and Transunion. That way no lender can advance credit without contacting you directly (at the number you set up). Contact both companies directly on how to proceed with this.....it is also free to do.
