Today it was a Tony Osbourne who called from the 740-201-2131 number asking for the owner of the company by the first name. I told him to hold on for a moment.... it was a very long hold time...... Yesterday the same guy called and hung up when he was asked who he was and what he wanted.
SOO HE CALLS HIM SELF JAKE ROGERS .. GETS MAD BECAUSE I DONT TRANSFER THE CALLS TO MY BOSS... WHICH MY BOSS HAS NOOOO IDEA WHO THIS GUY IS... F-----RS !
This guy from the number (740) 201-2131 calls and asks for my boss by name (my boss does not know him) and then procedes to talk my ear off about some advertising promotion for our business. When I tell him that we are not interested (as I am asked too), he still won't let me go....keeps pressing about his advertising until I finally hang up. We are listed with the "DO NOT CALL" directory, yet these people still keep calling!!! The last time we received a call from this rude and aggressive guy, I told him I must hang up to get an incoming call, and he tells me, "Go ahead and get it.....I'LL HOLD ON!" What a jerk. There company must be filled with scammers!
Received call from this number also and the guy was very persistent in wanting to speak to my boss. Would only give his name and nothing more. I advised that my boss will not take calls unless I have name and reason for calling. Still he persisted so I told him to hold on and then left him there for about 5 minutes and then I picked up and hung up. I keep a list of these numbers at my desk and when a number comes up again I pick the phone up and hang it right back up so as not to aggravate myself or tie up the phone from legitimate business.
