Today it was a Tony Osbourne who called from the 740-201-2131 number asking for the owner of the company by the first name. I told him to hold on for a moment.... it was a very long hold time...... Yesterday the same guy called and hung up when he was asked who he was and what he wanted.
A guy just called from this number asking to speak to my boss, requesting her by her first name, not using her proper suffix and acting like he's called a million times before. I didn't recognize his name and insisted he give me his last name, 'Ray Harrell' he said. I told him my boss was out of her office and he said he would just call back. She has no knowledge of who this guy is. I called the number back and his voice came on with an announcement that this was 'not a working number.' Creepy.
I work at a day care center. He's always calling for my boss and refuses to leave a number. He called today asking if my center had any openings available to enroll a child. I said yes and asked what age the child was. He got rude and again said he was looking for day care for his child. I again said yes and asked what the age was. Even ruder, he asked for my boss by name. I said she wasn't available but informed him I was the director and could help him. He yelled at me saying "Never mind, I'll call back later!" It wasn't until after I looked at the caller id that I realized it was this rude guy. My boss already said next time she'll get on the phone with him and tell him off. I can't wait for that to happen!
