Today it was a Tony Osbourne who called from the 740-201-2131 number asking for the owner of the company by the first name. I told him to hold on for a moment.... it was a very long hold time...... Yesterday the same guy called and hung up when he was asked who he was and what he wanted.
Same thing Charla asked if she had reached a tax service and if I was the preparer when I said no, and if I could take a message she said no and hung up immediately! What the Heck!
He called today asked for me by name and proceeded to ramble on about using credit cards and I let him talk while I worked and when he was done I told him I do not take credit cards and I will not take credit cards. He was pissed and hung up. LOL
Employee took a message from Paul who asked for the boss by his first name. The boss was busy at the time and Paul volunteered to hold because he refused to leave a message and insisted he could only be helped by the owner. Paul hung up after waiting about 5 minutes for the boss.
Just got call from Nicole. She asked for my boss by first name. I asked for her name, she said Nicole. Then I said where she was calling from. She said FROM WORK, DOES THAT MATTER? I said WHAT COMPANY ARE YOU CALLING FROM? She did not want to say, she kept saying I NEED TO TALK TO DAVID, JUST TELL HIM IT'S ME. What the hell? My boss doesn't know this person. So many sales calls ask for people by first name. It annoys the crap out of me. I said he's busy and she said she'd call back. Next time I will tell her to take our number off their list. annoying people!!
