This number was used by the Elmsford, NY-based collections company "American Medical Collection Agency" (also doing business as "Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau") in an attempt to reach me at a (740) number. Regardless of the legitimacy of the bill they are seeking to collect (sloppy vendor may have lost record of my payment) I find their use of a "local" number questionable. Companies that trade in personal information for a living should be held to a higher standard of transparency than that.

I got call on cell phone. I have ATT said Washington courthouse oh. I don't answer numbers don't know and it is number my phone won't allow to block for some reason. As they then called my work number which is brand new and I have no clue how got that number as is business line.. Very frustrating..
