Capital One Credit something, wanted to speak with my husband, or if he wasn't available wanted me to verify his DoB. My husband doesn't have an account with CO, and I told her I wasn't verifying anything since they couldn't even get his cell number right. She was not amused.
Keeps calling, I have no capital one account. From what I understand here is that maybe some of my immediate family has an account, but I have talked to most of my family and no on has them as an account. This is a total scam. I wish you were able to find these people and break there legs v and teach them a lesson cause they are worthless individuals. But unfortunately there is laws against that:(
It's a Capital One number, it's one of their call centers in Virginia. The 804 number is the local number apparently, and the 8002729756 is the toll free number. They may call wrong numbers trying to locate other people, this sometimes includes family. This is the Legal Front End department of Capital One.
Ok this [***] has to stop. I have no debt with them, nobody in this house has any debt with them, and they call multiple times per day. I'm taking it to the DA. I hope he's as good as our last DA.

804-588-4755 Multiple daily calls. Long list of caller ID logs will go off to the DA today, asking that he put a stop to this harassment.
I don't know if the person they claim is indebted to them is or not, but they have no right to harass me on a daily basis for the debts of anyone else! They should be punished for this. I'm sure it's illegal, but hey - [***] the law right?
Just had a similar conversation. The caller tried two of my phone numbers. I keyed in the number and found this post. Thanks for helping me verify this was all BS.
