This is happening to me as well while I am at my desk at work. Within a 30 minute time span, I received 10 calls, from 10 different numbers, and it would always beep twice then hang up. The 11th time, it was one of the numbers that had called previously and there was a woman with a heavy accent on the line. Asked for someone who does not work here. I told her that they had called 11 times within 30 minutes and that they should stop calling my number immediately. Very strange and very annoying!
Could not understand WTH they were saying. Using different names from above. Best way to deal with them is put them on hold, look up the number to see if it is in 800 notes, if it is, leave them on hold.
Called my company 5/13/14 asking for our COO. Accidentally hung up on them but they did not give any information otherwise. Probably telemarketers or some kind
Called asking for my boss. Said he wasn't available and I'd take a message. He said he would call back. I explained that I will always answer his lines, so he should just leave a message. He said he wasn't authorized to tell me what it was about, so I told him he shouldn't call back at all. His reply? "[***] you." The scum of society, folks!
