FTP - No idea who they are or what they do....but they are not calling for any legit reason, its a cold call.
An EXTREMELY rude and whiny (it was almost comical) lady called today and asked for John. We have (withing the C-Level alone) 6 Johns. I asked which John she needed.
"Well, the owner of the company."
Red Flag #1 - She doesn't know who she is calling. I answer the phone for a holding company, so there are at least 8 different "owners".
I told her I answer the phone for several companies, and asked her which one was she referring to?
Red Flag #2 - She SLAUGHTERED the name of the company (it's phonetic, and not hard at all), which usually means she has no legit business.
I keep getting calls from FPT (856)295-9713 on a daily basis. This phone number is from Camden, NJ. The funny thing, you all are business owners, guess what I'am not, or ever was a business owner. So why in hell are they calling my number, which is unlisted, and I'am also on the "Do not call list". I have caller id and I never pick up the phone unless I recognize the phone number.
They just called a few minutes ago. Asked for the owner and I told them we were owned by a parent corporation (which we are). She said she would put that in the notes. No clue if that will stop the calls, but I would assume it might since they know the owner will never be here.
Really rude woman trying to sell me card services, politely declined. I only answered as ignoring these calls just causes them to hassle you more, they have called numerous times recently, so I decided to nip it in the bud today. She still tried to talk over me and when I explained further thanks but no thanks she just hung up and left me hanging. Of course the call back number is a full voicemailbox. Never ever in a million lifetimes would I or any legit business person do business with anyone like this.
