Scam company trying to offer business loans. Have called repeatedly and used different company names, this time an Indian-sounding man named "Tom" calling from a busy call center said he's calling from Quick Access. No thanks, scumbags!
"can I talk to the owner of the company please?" I said "no you can't", hung up and blocked their number. As above posters have said, don't do business with anyone who cold-calls you. Don't call us, if we need your services we'll find you on the net.
John called from Merchants bank. I asked for a business number to verify and I would call back, while on the phone, I called the non working number with my cell phone. I told him he was a liar. A real bank would have a real number. He hung up. I called back, waited for a few minuets for someone to answer. It's John from a different bank, when he realized it was me, he hung up. I called back, again a different bank name and another hang up.
Tuesday, Guy with heavy Indian accent called asking to speak to the owner. After the typical run around of making them fess up who they are, advised him that my number is on the DoNotCall list, he was in violation of federal law, and to never ever call again. 1 minute later he calls back. Told him off and hung up. Called yet again. I answered and immediately hung up on him. Wednesday, same number called again. Answered & hung up. Immediately called again, answered with a cymbal crash & hung up. Incredibly, a few minutes later called YET AGAIN! Answered with another cymbal crash. Student doubled over laughing ;P
