This number called the office I'm gatekeeper for but hung up mid-ring, as I was reaching for the handset. No actual idea what they wanted but if it's what the other posters reported, they're outta luck. We never give out that type of information. The CID only said Pompano BCH FL
Male caller with a thick accent, spoke fast. Said he was calling from Advise IT and wanted to confirm my name, address, title, etc. He mentioned the call was recorded. When I asked if he was selling something, he said no, repeatedly. He kept saying he's trying to verify and update my information in their database. I repeatedly asked if my company has a relationship with them. He said yes and said he's not trying to sell me anything. I eventually said good bye and hung up without verifying our information.
Scammer from india from "advice IT" (yeah, right) asking for someone that is not in my department that was supposedly the "Computer Manager" (WTF that is)...He asked if he could speak to that person and I told him no, he most certainly may NOT speak to that person and he'd better not call my number again or I will report them to the FBI.
Call has been reported to the national Do Not Call registry. Getting sick and tired of these idiot scammers thinking I'm stupid enough to fall for their bullsh*t.
