I put out an ad for baby sitting on craigslist and some lady named Brenda asked for my name and number. She emailed me back with the scam details saying I would take care of her daughter who is new to the country I would need to give them my ssn and other personal iinformation. I knew it was a scam so I didn't. But that number called me today, I didn't answer.
Well when they call me it was Ashley and she gave the number of 877-889-8557 ext 569 to call back on. It showed up on my caller id as Dotcom Hotels. But when I call the toll free number she gave me it says Coach Financial Services. I'm so glad I read this web site. I knew there was something very odd about this. DON'T Trust them!!!
Hi, today is August 13, 2008. Talked to and received paperwork from Livingston Advisors, livingstonadvisors.net . Person's name is Courtney Acer---must of got the name off her computer. The number she called me on was of course 347-562-2648. She told me I was approved for 20,000 loan. I had to give her a 2000 dollar deposit, so I would not run off with the money, before they could send me the check. I would get money back after 6 months. Sounded fishy to me. Any reputable (real) company will not ask for money to loan money. Anyone dealing with any of these false companies can notify FBI at IC3.gov . Lets get these SOB's
Got a call saying I was okayed for a $10,000 loan and had 5 days to 'secure' it with a partial payment for 'insurance' purposes. The loan officer is Marilyn Wilson.
I had been forwarded the information on a loan from a friend that had been going through the process. The company name is Livingston Advisors. I tought I would check it out and had asked for a $20 Loan for my business, why not the interest was 6.5% and the payments were low. I talked to a Courtney Acer....when got a little suspicious I asked if i could put the money into an escrow account until my bank account was funded, she didn't know what an escrow account was. I would stay away from these guys, I asked a lot of questions and didn't get any detailed answers. There website is livingstonadvisors.net and the lady I spoke to was Courtney Acer.....she must have came up with that name when she looked at her Acer computer...lol
