I put out an ad for baby sitting on craigslist and some lady named Brenda asked for my name and number. She emailed me back with the scam details saying I would take care of her daughter who is new to the country I would need to give them my ssn and other personal iinformation. I knew it was a scam so I didn't. But that number called me today, I didn't answer.
Received a call from John Logan with Livingston Advisors. Phone number 866-647-8069 x3. I was approved for a $10,000 loan with an interest rate of 6.5%. I needed to put 10% in insurance down before the funds would be released to me. I told him that if I had that kind of money I wouldnt need a loan! His only answer to my question about people getting ripped off was that customers presented fraudulent information. I asked him about customers who sent in their money and never received any funds in return. He had no answers for me. Just a scripted answer about fraudulent information and their accounts department. I told him I was no longer interested. I will now go to www.lifelock.com in case of identity theft.
I was contacted yesterday by "Safeway Lending Group". I was told to send in $975.00 copy of social security card, paystub, and driver license..i was really excited untill the more i thought about it something didnt sound right.i was told once i sent the document in from the e-mail and my personal documents then my $8,000 loan would be sent to me with 7% intrest rate. So today i tried to find the website their isnt one(duhh)......They almost got me but thank god im a little smarter then that lol. I'm just 18 and if i would have been a little bit dumber i could have ruined my identity!
I was contacted by this number. I was to get a $5,000.00 approved loan. They are now going by the name of Globe Finance Inc. I'm glad I checked out this number.
