I have had 5 or 6 calls in the last few weeks all from (910)000-0000. Callers are foriegn, believed to be East Indian. They tell you that they are going to be issuing a card that MUST be presented to the provider along with your Medicare card or Medicare will not pay. Then they proceed to ask for personal info such as the name of your bank and bank account numbers, birth date ect. They are quite demanding of the info and will not provide any about themselves. On the last call I acused them of being a scam, they tried assure me they were not. I asked that they send me the request via mail with their company letterhead, they replied they had but I have been ignoring things they have sent. Not true. I again asked for the name of the business they were representing they went on talking as if I had not asked the question. I hung up.
Received call from 1-910-000-0000 on April 4, 2008 at 2:30 CST on cell phone. Caller identified himself (with an Indian accent) as "Ron Smith" representing "U.S. Online Pharmacy." Caller hung-up when I requested the website address of the company. Subsequently filed a complaint with the Do Not Call List Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx).
