In the past two weeks, I have received four calls from someone with this number. Twice from someone saying they were with the IRS tax dept and the other two saying they were from the Social Security Dept. All four times saying they were going to send me $500 a month for 6 months because of my good standing with the IRS. Both wanted info about me. The last caller cussed me out when I called him on it. Wish there was a way to catch these guys.
sounds like the same ones who called me over 60 times
in august and september 2007. I also reported them
over 60 times to the attorney general do not call list
and FTC. Except their number at the time was
954-100-0001 and they wanted 29.95 for "download internet
services" whatever that is.
I see now they have changed phone numbers
and scam stories. They don't call me anymore,
after I very rudely and loudly told them off
and told them I reported them so many times.
I thought falsely impersonating a government agent,
especially an IRS agent is a criminal felony
and against the law?
