I got a call from this number (910-000-000000)with a foriegner on the other end. He told me that I had been selected by the government to recieve a $500 up front and $500 for the next 6 months.He said it was because I had been a model citizen and wasn't a criminal. I asked him for a callback number or website and he told me he could give me all of that information AFTER I gave him my checking account information. He would not give me any contact information and I told him to contact me back in 5 minutes. He told me that today was the last day of the offer. He did call me back and he told me that he was calling from the Washington government and it was not a fradulent call. Thank God for the Internet! Otherwise I would have been taken advantage of!
Tell them to stop calling me! how the heck did they get my number- isn't it enough that I get emails with these scams...now they are calling me? Enough already. I didn't answer when they called, and they didn't leave a message. I thought the number was odd- so I googled it of course and came across this website. I think one complaint would be enough for the cops to go after them- it'll save them the work of trying to restore someone's bank account or identity if and when people fall for this scam. Tell these "people" to leave normal people the hell alone- and to get a job if they want money- and to stop trying to scam people for the bank account information!
I kept getting calls from this number and two others at 5:50 am. Each time I answered the male would keep saying Hello, Hello. It sounded like he was in a busy restaurant or bar. When I would hang up, I started getting more calls from different numbers with a 777 area code. The male had a Chinese Accent.
Same person that called me from 9100000000000 called me from this number. He kept calling over and over again. After the first couple of times answering I ignored the calls.
Same Asian Male that called me from 9100000000000 and 17772406386 also called me from this number and a number that came up unknown. He did not speak other then repeating Hello multiple times. It sounded like he was in a busy place. These calls continued from 5:49 am through 5:53 am.
