any one know anyone that works there...any real names of managers..I think a little phone payback might be in order.. maybe a past employee who is pissed and would give some of their personal information out. Apparently they think our personal life is not important and they can hide behind the walls and do this crap. Could be posted and let all of the pissed off people that get the horrible calls call them back and tell their friends, if they have any, the are writing bad checks, that's what happened to me.. I did not write any bad checks.
If you owe any back phone bills, AT&T uses Western Asset mgmt to collect debts. it doesn't have to be an old debt either. it can be as recent as 3-4 months old.
West Asset Management keeps calling client. They are also known as Omega Services. They say they are calling regarding the AT&T bill. They were listed in the bankruptcy matrix Their number is 201-210-6114.
They used to call from this number: 732-982-3945. Several times a day. To my MOBILE phone. Now they're calling from 201-210-6114, repeatedly, on my mobile phone. This time, it's a recording asking for a specific person, but I'm NOT that person. From everything I've read, this is a HUGE scam. Don't return their call, it just adds you to their system. Eventually, they'll give up.
West Asset is a real corporation - I worked for them as and Independent Contractor for over 18months in one of their other divisions. If you are getting calls you need to contact them and straighten them out. They have apparently been given your phone number incorrectly.
