Caller ID said US Bank. Lady with foreign accent wanted to open a credit card and went into her spill about transferring all balances to that account. Couldn't get a word in as lady kept on and kept on. Finally just told her to 'have a nice day' and hung up. It is apparently NOT the "US Bank" we've dealt with for years. I'd say it was a SCAM.
I received a call from this number on my business line asking for my daughter in law. The woman stumbled all over herself when I asked who she was with and the nature of her call. "Just reaching out to her about an offer that was sent to her" My daughter in law is in no way connected to our business, so why are they calling this number??
Calls several times a week. If I don't answer it leaves a strange beeping sound on my answering machine. Today I answered. As soon as I said hello the caller hung up.
Any caller that is legitimate will call you during normal business hours and/or leave a message. I have never had a bank call me for any other reason than to set up a time to speak in person. SCAM ALERT
