WARNING this is NOT United States Bank issurer of the Academy Sports & Outdoors visa. They called and asked for me. I was at my class at the university. My sister told me the next morning, I called the number on the back of my credit card. When I said I was calling because someone from there tried to contact me last evening. They said they didn't. I was on my cellphone so I read them the number and time of the call from the house phone caller ID. The CS Rep said that is not our number. We know who those people are and have been trying to get something done about them for a long time. These caller are scammers and somehow have you info if you have a credit card with US Bank. They have called asking for me and my mother BY NAME! We both have US Bank credit cards
They need to prosecute these people. Got a call tonight asking for my Daighter. Courtesy call they said US Bank they said. Shows on caller ID as IS bank but it's a scam 202 215 1712
Credit Card scam. Offered 0% interest balance transfers and no fee. Asked me if I still lived at (my correct address).
I stopped her at this point and said NOT INTERESTED. REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR LIST. Then I hung up.
