I got a call from that number. I pressed the 1 to get to the person because I was curious. It was an Indian accent. When I asked what company he were referring to he repeated the same things. So you want to lower your credit card rating? I said what company are you with. Then he hung up. Even if he could tell me a correct company I would have asked him for my account number or credit card number.
CALL YOUR CARD COMPANY IMMEDIATELY!!!! There should be a number on the back of the card. Do this as quickly as possible so they can prevent any fraud. It will be as simple as cancelling this card and issuing you a new one as long as it has not yet been compromised. In the future, please remember that no card company will be calling you asking for information pertinent to your card/account. They will already have all of that information on file. GOOD LUCK!
