I got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.
EVERYONE BEWARE, DON'T SEND THIS DEVILS ANY MONEY. TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT!. Report them to the Police, FTC, BBB, Secret Service and your state's attorney general
I just received the same call and hell it scared the crap out of me. I will be going home to check on this loan which I am sure is paid, call them and get it in writing. I really hope it is a scam.
I just got 2 phone calls from them in a 1 hour time frame and I got 2 on Sunday from them. They scared the crap out of me too. I don’t know what to do to get them to stop calling me.
Let them know you reported them to the FTC. If they threaten to send someone to come pick you up tell them to do it. They called me twice after I told them that I reported them and I knew they were scam artists they quit calling.
They did the same exact thing to me and his name was supposedly Davidn Bush. His accent was so thick I couldn't understand him. Threatened me with going to jail. They told me I needed to write an apology letter! Ever heard of such. I called them back and a lady answered. I asked for the mailing address and she said, "And what do you need our mailing address for?" Then she hung up on me.
I received a phone call from this number (201) 234-4071 today at work. They told me that a payday loan company had deposited money into my account and they were going to charge me with fraud. I told them I had no idea what they were talking about. The man said would you like to speak to my supervisor...I said yes, he put me on hold and came back and said his name was Michael Harris he had a very strong accent and I couldn't understand him. He said they would help me but I had to pay so much. He said I had 1 hour to get back into contact with them, except the number has been disconnected! Don't fall for it!!!It's a SCAM!!!!!
