I got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.

SOMEONE JUST CALLED ME WITH A DEEP, INDIAN ACCENT. THEY KEPT THREATENING ME AND STATING THAT I OWED SOME COMPANY MONEY. A COMPANY THAT I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH FOR THAT MATTER. THEY WERE VERY RUDE AND THREATENING. HE ALSO HAD MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, SOMEHOW. I'M REALLY CONCERNED. NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NOW.
called and threating me to pay something i don,t know what it was.was an hendew accent was very rude on the message he said of my cell phone aND WORK NUMBER.
I got the same call today he left me the same message, saying his name was William Connors and to call back and if i don't good luck to me and my family. I called back and he told me i took out a pay day loan on May 5, 2008 and that they were going to charge me with 3 counts and send someone to my home or work on monday to arrest me. I never even had a payday loan but he knew my address and my work and what my position was. He told me to have my lawyer call him back in 20 min. I did call my lawyer and the states attorneys office and now we're looking into going after them for harrassment.
Called my wifes cell phone. Heavy Indian accent. Said his name was Alex and if I didn't call back he "felt sorry for me and the events that were going to take place" and "good luck to my family and kids"... I have 3 kids, this [***] better pray i never find out who he is. Is there anything I can do legally?
i just called the ftc and they're going to have law enforcement look into it. I also contacted my states attorney and notified them of the incident too.
