I got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.
EVERYONE BEWARE, DON'T SEND THIS DEVILS ANY MONEY. TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT!. Report them to the Police, FTC, BBB, Secret Service and your state's attorney general
Yep. Got the same call, about 10 minutes ago. Deep Indian accent, lots of noise in the background, and outright threat about "good luck to me and my family" if I don't return the call.
Came in as "unknown number" but the return number the guy gave was 201-234-4071.
Me to, same phone number. Do you think this is real? They kept saying they downloaded something, but they were not willing to fax me a copy of what they were looking at.
Today I received two extremely threatening messages with both stating they pray for my welfare if I don't call nack. WTF.
In these cases, and I have no loan out to anyone other than my bank, what do you do about these calls?
I say that everyone who received this call reports them to the FTC and file a formal complaint and file a lawsuit against them. My dad received a phone call last night saying they were going to withdrawal money from his bank account and also called me today and threatened to put me in jail.
