I got a call from a guy calling himself Officer Steven Smith, he told me I needed to call him back or have my attorney call him back. I thought it was just a prank and ignored the calls. I got about 7 in a row. I called him and he went on with some bullcrap about I owed US National Bank 500.00. I knew I did not so I told him he was a lier and hung up. Then he calls again and my daughter answers the phone and he tells her that I'm going to be arrested and we are in danger. It took a lot of convincing for me to get my child to believe this was a scam. The law was suppose to come pick me up he said in two days, Its been 60 and I'm still waiting for the law. I dare he scare my child like this, he can kiss my double cheeks but when you mess with my child you have to pay. He will pay, sooner or later, he will get whats due him.
EVERYONE BEWARE, DON'T SEND THIS DEVILS ANY MONEY. TELL THEM TO SHOVE IT!. Report them to the Police, FTC, BBB, Secret Service and your state's attorney general
The same thing happened to me on last week. Once the gut told me his name was Roy then the same person told me his name was Bruce and that I had to go to court at 11am the next day. When I asked for validation of this said payday loan they told me that they could not help me with that now because it was too late. They told me the same things that I have been seeing on many of these informative sites. They wanted me to give them my debit or credit card # and pay them 510.87. They have continued to call me but I have not answered their calls. I have put fraud alerts on all of credit reports and am send a letter to my state attorney general's office as we speak.
If I receive anymore calls from them I am going to anwer the phone and inform them that I have reported them to the authorities. Hopefully they won't call back.
I just had the same thing happen to me as well. These guys are persistent, 4 calls in less than 5 minutes. Does anyone know where I can report this? It's an obvious scam. Thanks for posting this everyone, it really helped me!
I got a phone call from this number claiming to be an attorney. They said they were gonna have me arrested for 3 different felonies and that i would be in prison. these people are a complete scam. i talked to a Daniel Bush, Justin McClain and Christine Jones. they say they are located at in Cambell California. do not give them any info. i have reported them to every agency known.
I just got the same phone call. While I also did business with the company noted, I did pay off my debt. They were very pushy and I kept firing off questions and they eventually hung-up on me.
