received a call from Annie with Cyber Wizard to fix all the problems on my computer with microsoft - asked how they knew I had a computer and it had problems and was told because I was the registered owner of a microsoft operating system. Wanted me to go to my computer and give them information - NO WAY. I hope they don't call back - scammers.
This is a phishing scam! I got a call from this number that was disguised (too few digits and "Out of Area"). The caller told me my computer was sending error messages to Microsoft and that he (his company might be named Cyber Wizard or Cyber Reserve) would fix it for me. He was very adamant about working on my Windows system and even tried to get me to hit certain keys and do his scamming for him! I told him I would have my own computer repair guy look at it and he claimed "they will never find the problem". After hanging up, I looked at the Microsoft community forums--this has been going on for a long time, is not legitimate and some posters even paid money and received no service. This scam could also be used to take control of your computer or get personal information so don't do it!
3rd June, 2013. I got a call from that number on one fine day and they told me that there is something wrong in my computer. and they told me to turn on my computer and check my computer by my self. so when i checked my computer then i found that there are some sort of error and warnings running over there so they provide me a support connection for that and they get into my computer and they showed me all the problems which i am having inside of it. now i am a registered customer of them for the lifetime and i am really satisfied with that what they have provided me and i can tell anyone about them that they are legit and the guy who talked with me he was really helpful his name was Dave Trott.
These people continue to call me saying I have virus on my computer, or their from microwsoft. They gave me this # to verify..and continue to call and harass me wanting to get into my computer.Said they were out of New York City..
