received a call from Annie with Cyber Wizard to fix all the problems on my computer with microsoft - asked how they knew I had a computer and it had problems and was told because I was the registered owner of a microsoft operating system. Wanted me to go to my computer and give them information - NO WAY. I hope they don't call back - scammers.
i have had two calls now from this number the last one telling me how they are going to kill me and my family then blow up my house i have reported to the police and sence i work for the state i hope something can be done back to these people
Greg & Anna, Could you check back sometime and let us know if they really blew up your houses or not. Have you ever borrowed money from the mob, the IRA, or maybe mideastern terrorists?
Just got a call from these folk at work. Same computer instruction crap. They want you to pull up the event viewer and scare you with common errors the machine has logged. The guy said his name was Peter Parker LOL. Indian accent, others in the background like a call center. Wow.
i got a call from someone saying they were calling from microsoft. They asked for my brother who no longer lives here. They knew his first and last name! Who should i report this to?
What did you do??? i did the same as previous responder. let them go thru the whole spill about shutting down my computer (BUT DID NOT DO). i asked for his boss.. which was "simon" and told him I would call him back, he gave me the number "210-234-4604". I dont know what is going on..
